I want to know what kind of protective gears should a dirt bike rider wear..
Must the seat be low or high when doing the jumping kind of stunts?
What kind of attire should be worn for all that?
I'm a beginner in all that so please help me by giving me some tips..
Thank you.. :towelcheer:

Beginners are advised best not to try anything too huge for a start.
Ride more till u are confident with small jumps, small air time, get landings correct & etc before trying bigger stuff
Protective gears, most importantly helmet. Protective gears such as shin & knee guards come next.
Ride with seat post lowered & get a right bike.

yes, like what Johnny sugguested, you should really familiarize yourself with your bike 1st.
before you proceed, you should try answering this few questions.
1) is your bike meant for DJ discipline?
2) how long have you been riding? formerly bmxer? xcer?
3) how & where did you learn about DJ discipline?

i beg to difffer man.The xc bikes, even when the riders lower the seat it is still very high cause many of them didnt cut their post. And their handlebar is lower and its just not jumping geometry la their bike.I've seen many xcers try to jump but they would endo, besides clipless is a pain if u just wanna learn basic jumping.cant bail for shure.

It's not the bike that really matters, it's the rider... unless we're talking about competitive riding. B)
