Title: Any Raleigh road bikers out there?

KrisSpot23 - March 18, 2009 03:24 AM (GMT)
Hi all,
Am a newbie to the contemporary bike scene, which I must say is mind-blowing. Last time I rode a bike with a vengeance was a heavy Raleigh market bike more than 20 years ago. And that was when you could easily get a 10-speed racer for very little money.

Am right now shopping for a roadie, and rather captivated with the idea of getting a Raleigh.

So, any Raleigh roadies out there can give me advice on whether the Airlite 200 is available here in Singapore?

Bro tbird000 has been very helpful with info on his Raleigh Grand Sport.

Just want to find out more from Raleigh roadies what range is available here, and which LBS should I visit to see more bikes from this brand.

And of course, which shop offers the best bargain/service etc... :towelcheer:

Thanks,
Phil

I ride a 1990 Raleigh lightweight 531c. Old but faithful. Steel is strong. Survived a nasty car accident without much fuss.

Hope to see more raleigh riders out there.
