I'm thinking of going on a mountain biking trip overseas, and looking for a guide book about great places to discover on a bike. Does anyone know where I can find some good guide books for travellers on two wheels?

Where are you going on your trip?
There're some bike travel guide books on GuideGecko.com. Depending on your destination you might be able to find a guide there-- I've bought some great Himalaya and Tibet bike guides from this online bookstore. |

I haven't planned exactly where to go but the Himalayas definitely sounds interesting. Thanks for the link dleon! Have you bought a guide from GuideGecko before? |

Yup! I just discovered it a few days ago. Ordered my bike travel guides and got them sent to my mailbox really quickly. How's your planning going, CS? |

Still planning my route. I ordered the Himalaya guide, Trailblazer Himalaya by Bike, from GuideGecko and it arrived really quickly. =) It's even cheaper than Kino and Borders! Thinking of going on a downhill bike tour from Nagarkot. What are your biking plans like?
