There are enough riders for the round island adventure tonight, wish they
can use the latest IT gadget to post pictures of the ride live
on the forums for us to enjoy.

Remember they are covering 120km and will end at about 5am or 6am
tomorrow morning.

Bet the Nokia 810 Internet Tablet will come in handy ya!

Anyone got one of this device?

Did the ride materialized? Perhaps Joel could give us some
feedback, any pictures of the night adventure blues?

Quite ok turnout, 10 odd riders, we got a few foldable bike riders joining the ride. 1 uncle riding dahon foldable with 20 inch wheels was like maintaining 30+ kmh for the entire coastal stretch. worship.gif
Didn't complete the round island though, cuz not enough time.

Whole ride was bout 70+km.
Route: Sengkang - Hougang - Old Tampines Road - Pasir Ris - Changi Village - Coastal - ECP - Town - Mount Faber (up and down) - Vivo - Town - Serangoon - Punggol park kopi tiam for b'fast.

Set off 2315 sharp and ended ard 7+.

Great Joel for the report. Saw a middle age rider on a Dahon foldable
too this morning at the Bedok PCN towards Changi. He was like waiting for me
and my friend to catch up with him as if there is a chance for him to cruise
together. However partner was not in the mood of a faster ride so he rode off.

How about doing the round island ride this Friday and changing the meeting
place nearer to central like Ang Mo Kio instead of SengKang?

u meet at the central then must go to the south, east, west or north to start the ROUND island.

Good idea but for sure I will not be able to lead this time round.
Anyone wants to volunteer?

Perhaps Joel can do it again for this Friday.
